After coming out of the digital slr closet with my recent purchase of a Fuji X100, as I browse through performance related accessories for the rangefinder I’m coming across people who accesorize the hell out of these cameras, and I’m not quite sure how much function factors into these changes. Sure when you own a SLR you buy a battery pack to make the camera look bigger (come on now, your battery life isn’t THAT bad that you need one), and I admit to being guilty of buying larger lens hoods for my telephotos, but there seems to be a whole market of people who dig through old camera parts and straps to throw on their rangefinders/35mm slrs. These two caught my eye over on here.
Aesthetics wise I’ve always been a fan of the square lens hood, and it does look pretty bad ass on the x100. The additional view finder though I don’t know if I could justify as the x100’s built in viewfinder does give you a pretty solid amount of necessary information, as well as the viewfinder preview which is pretty cool.
