With the SE Showtime production frames in our hands, we added Riverside rider Jonathan Davis to the roster. I’ve been watching JD’s riding since we first did a demo at Active on a SE fixed trip, and am stoked to have finally have him on the team. After building up his frame, Gus and I headed up to Riverside to spend the day riding around with him and see how much we could hammer out in a day.
Our first stop was Jurupa skatepark where JD sent a fly out 180 tuck no hander and a one footed table across a hip.
While we were shooting JD pointed to a nearby hill saying that’s where the legendary “battle bowl” was, but we’d have a serious hike to get to the top. We packed up, and drove in as far as we could up a dirt road before hoofing it the rest of the way up the mountain where JD locked into a few luc-e grinds.
Ending the day we drove to a double set rail hop with not much of a landing that JD threw for a couple of angles, before ending in downtown Riverside with a 17 stair hand rail.
