Since moving into a new place I commandeered the garage (much to my girlfriend’s displeasure) and setup a little studio to work out of. It’s been great having a space where I can take my time and work on polishing up my product photography, plus it’s fun because my friends can come over and hang out while I’m working and sometimes end up in the pictures.
I’ve also been working alot with a new boom arm recently. In the past I used to work with one more, but when you’re running and gunning doing on location shoots it’s not the most practical using a piece of gear that needs to be weighed down so much. Now having a spot where I can leave it setup without having to tear it down I find myself using it practically every shoot.
