Out of any place I’ve been fortunate enough to visit in this country, the Northwest has really always been one of my favorites. Green trees, good people, great cycling, and over all amazing times. Naturally when Chrome Industries offered me the chance to go up and shoot some of their water proof gear in Portland I jumped at the chance.
I snuck up a day early to get some riding in with my friend Patrick Thames and snap some content for Leader’s soon to be released frameset we collaborated with him on: the Renovatio. We rode the city all day in the rain, and just like any true Southern Californian I brought zero weather proof gear with me. Luckily Chrome took mercy and helped me out with one of their storm jackets.
Along with getting the chance to work with Chrome’s marketing people, I was incredibly excited to finally get the chance to meet photographer Damian Riehl who I’ve featured on this blog before, and turned out to be one of the models in the shoot. It was a solid crew which made for some good photos and even better times.
